I started my career as a waiter at a 4-star hotel in 2008 after completing a hotel management course. Life was a huge struggle. I couldn't go to the next level because an inner voice kept telling me that "I am not good at talking to customers" and "I didn't have enough important life skills like communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving", and so on.

Then I enrolled in a Leadership program in 2009 which completely transformed my life. I gained a lot of confidence, courage & conviction in what I do. After that I began performing really well at the hotel. I not only got promoted but also landed opportunities to work overseas. I realized that by developing the right skills, knowledge & attitude you can be a winner in your personal & professional life.
The time came for me to take a bold and risky decision in my life in December 2010. As the saying goes "miles to go before you sleep". I quit my job and embarked on my journey. I changed my profession and entered the training industry. I took up the responsibility of a program coordinator at a reputed training company in Chennai. In 2012, I completed my Master’s Diploma in training. I launched my career as a full time professional trainer in 2013. I strongly believe that learning new skills and improving my knowledge helps me become a great trainer.
Some of my certifications include Gestalt Therapy, Diploma in Coaching (International Coaching Federation, UK), Neuro-Linguistic Program Master Practitioner, Certified Professional Storyteller, Transactional Analysis and Health Mastery through Yoga, Emotional Intelligence and Money & Healing. There I realized that to be a great trainer I must follow a great principle which I have been living by: "Practice what you preach".
I always had an urge to start my own business. In 2014, I started my first company VWIN Academy, in the field of corporate training & coaching.
For new entrepreneurs, launching the first company is quite challenging and daunting. There are countless sacrifices to make. We shoulder the responsibility of the entire company's operation to begin with. There are risky decisions to make many of whom end up being big mistakes because we can't see into the future. I made my share of mistakes in choosing my office, planning the business system, misunderstandings with team members, wrong marketing strategies, etc. Finally, such decisions led me to shut down the business. I wondered if entrepreneurship was really my passion. Even as a trainer I had failed in my business. But I had learnt a lot in how not to run a business. I had learnt two key lessons which were critical in running a successful and profitable business.
I went ahead and mastered those two skills by through my own experiences and from various seminars conducted by world class business owners. I stared my second company Success Imprint which is into Corporate Training & Coaching. I then launched Yoga Vijayam, my third venture in 2017, which is into corporate yoga.
In this process, in 2015 I joined BNI (Business Network International Forum) where I was fortunate to meet more than 1000 vibrant entrepreneurs. I learnt a lot more about entrepreneurship and business system from them in an unbelievably positive and motivating environment.
